KAPUKI ARTS TENUGUI SERIES WITH CONTEMPORARY ILLUSTRATOR AND ARTIST, NAGA

This original tenugui (hand towel) has been dyed with the traditional method “Chu-sen". Popularized in the Meiji Era (1868-1912), Chu-sen is a uniquely Japanese method of dyeing fabric - typically used for tenugui (traditional hand towels) and yukata (summer kimono).
