Let's say it in an easy-to-understand manner, while looking sideways at the contemporary art world, which is full of difficult contexts. Buggy can be said to be an evolution of Andy Warhol in the context of Remix pop art.
The collage motifs continue to be amplified in the world with the times. What is picked up from there, the act of buggy itself is pop art, and it looks like an action to build an edgy street fashion. Buggy's occasional remixes of Japanese motifs that are not found in the rest of the world give the work a strong impact, further clarifying buggy's style.
For this KAPUKI ARTS vol.5, we have specially ordered a remix with Japanese motifs to create a new work. The finished designs were printed on canvas, hanging scrolls, and T-shirts by silkscreening.
Am I the only one who mysteriously has Japanese DNA boiling out by having the most pop Japanese collage nearby?
