Notice of new store opening and website renewal

Long time no see.
No, I think it's a lot of people who are in the middle of the day.
My name is Reiko Koshizuka, the owner of KAPUKI.

With the relocation and opening of the new store on July 11, 2021, the website has also been renewed. An online shop will open on the new homepage, and we will do our best with a lot of content that everyone can enjoy!
We look forward to working with all of you here in the future.

By the way, I wrote a little (?) blog on the old homepage,
Perhaps it was the trend of the times, but I tended to be biased towards SNS (Insta) rather than blogging. Excuse me….
Of course, I think that the information conveyed by the photograph is suitable for the present age,
For those who love kimono, it is difficult to convey with just a photo,
A little more, no, I need to send out more and more information! So I decided to continue blogging here! That said, I can see that it's not easy for me to update my own blog, so this blog will be a staff relay blog.

For the first time, the shopkeeper Reiko will write.
I would like to briefly introduce myself and tell you about the process leading up to the relocation of the new store.

Seven years ago, I suddenly jumped into the world of kimono without knowing right or left.
Kimono shop KAPUKI was started by taking over the kimono brand “Elly&Oby” from Mitsuaki Koshizuka, a partner.
I didn't really like kimono, I couldn't wear it myself, and I didn't have any customer service experience. That said, I was a stylist when I was young, so I am somewhat involved in fashion. I was going to lose to no one with that hot feeling. We have been working hard for the past 7 years, believing in our instincts, while questioning the general rules and common sense of kimono and being fed up with the kimono industry that does not change anything under the name of tradition. And this time, KAPUKI will move to a new store on July 11, 2021! I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to our customers who patronize KAPUKI and to all those who support KAPUKI's manufacturing. Thank you so much! ! !

Three years ago, I launched the furisode brand"Yuen", inspired by the furisode I wore to my daughter's coming-of-age ceremony. rice field. The situation made me feel bad for the customer, and I was thinking that it would be nice if there was a bigger place, but to my surprise, there was a wonderful property 3 buildings next to me, and I decided to move in! It was on February 8th, Reiko's 51st birthday, when I went to see the property. Of course, we needed to be prepared to move due to the corona crisis, but it is an undeniable fact that we were driven by something invisible. (I'm the type of person who believes in things you can't see.) And in the months since then, thanks to the support of so many people, we're finally open in a week!

The new store will have two floors, and you will be able to see the products at your leisure.
Also, under the title of"KAPUKI ARTS", we will present various art curated by creative director Mitsuaki Koshizuka, so please look forward to it as well!

All the staff are looking forward to seeing you at the new store! ! !
