Black crested kimono fair

January 18th - January 28th

"Not just mourning clothes" Black crested kimono fair

Nowadays, black montsuki is strongly associated with mourning attire, but it was originally the first formal wear and was also worn on celebratory occasions when combined with a gorgeous obi and accessories.

We suggest this kimono not only as mourning attire, but also as a kimono that can be worn for both happy and sad occasions.
We offer two types of fabric: crepe and habutae.

Anyone who purchases a black montsuki during the fair will receive a complimentary name engraving service.
