It is a beautiful obi with each feather delicately expressed by skillful weaving on a surprisingly light obi material.
Homareza-ori: By using hand-pulled threads called seat-reeling instead of reeling by machine, the fabric becomes puffy as if it were wrapped in air.
We use Akebono cocoons produced in Japan, and are particular about reeling in Nomura Town, Ehime Prefecture.
