The Hakata weave "Kiwabu" is made based on the Soubu technique, one of the seven traditional Hakata weaves.
The intricate design, which uses 1,200 patterned needle heddles, and the weft threads, which are woven with more than 110 threads per 37.8 mm, give the fabric a supple texture and make it easy to tie.
The warp threads are made with the world's highest quality Bratak silk thread, and the weavers carefully weave each shuttle to create a unique weave that you can enjoy.
