Yonezawa Ori
Yonezawa, the northernmost textile production area in Japan, began in 1776 when weavers were called from Echigo and the weaving techniques were taught throughout the family.
Cultivation of mulberries and sericulture became popular, and linen fabrics and linen/silk mixed weaves became silk fabrics.
Yonezawa's weaving technology continues to receive high praise both domestically and internationally.
Shop owner Reiko has selected products from Yonezawa's textiles that are perfect for KAPUKI.
