Woven from Asoyo and silk, "Futari Shizuka" is attractive for its nuanced fabric that combines different materials.
Asayo: Hemp cloth has been an essential part of Japanese life since ancient times.
However, after World War II, domestic cultivation was restricted, and it has now become a "fabric that the Japanese have forgotten" and is no longer in general circulation.
Kondaya Genbei revived this hemp cloth into clothing for modern Japanese people, creating "Asamyo."
