"ala elle" made by Watamasa, famous for its washable pure silk kimono
A crocodile pattern that is typical of KAPUKI.
It's also recommended for those times when you want to look fashionable but are worried about stains.
~How to wash~
- Dissolve the detergent in water that is less than 40 degrees Celsius.
- Submerge the kimono wrapped in a tatami mat and soak for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Rinse 2 to 3 times.
- Place it between a towel or bath towel to remove any excess water. *Do not step on it with your feet as the strong pressure will make it difficult to remove the wrinkles.
- After drying on a kimono hanger, gently iron with a pressing cloth or iron with a steam iron while hanging. Avoid ironing when the kimono is still partially dry as this may cause scratches.
- Once dry, fold it up and let the air out to settle before wearing.
