The 1yr version is an alternative to the original "Snake and Skull" pattern designed by Pencil Nishioka.
KAPUKI denim kimonos are made in Japan by denim artisans in Okayama.
We commissioned the denim brand FDMTL (Fundamental) to create a look that captures the unique texture of authentic denim, paying particular attention to the fabric and washing process, and tailoring the garment to show off the stitching.
Kimono are easy to care for and can be enjoyed in a similar way to Western clothing.
