The expressive white lines created by the tie-dyeing process are impressive, and despite being denim, this is a piece that you'll want to wear with a smooth and lustrous look.
KAPUKI denim kimonos are made in Japan by denim artisans in Okayama.
We commissioned the denim brand FDMTL (Fundamental) to create a garment that is particular about the fabric and washing process, as well as a style that allows the stitching to show through, in pursuit of the texture that can only be achieved with authentic denim.
Kimono are easy to care for and can be enjoyed in a similar way to Western clothing.
