Okaju, a long-established Kyoto company, has reproduced several innovative patterns that are still relevant today from our collection of sample books of "haura," the lining patterns of haori coats from the Meiji and Taisho periods.
The patterns dyed with Kyo-Yuzen dyeing are dyed by hand by craftsmen using stencils, giving them a deep flavor. KAPUKI recommends wearing them peeking out from the sleeves of denim kimonos or plain kimonos.
