バショウ科の多年草である糸芭蕉の繊維を裂き、手括りした芭蕉糸でざっくりと織りあげています。
繊維が固いので、お締めいただくと張りがあり、型崩れしにくいのが特徴です。
風通しが非常に良く、さらりとした締め心地です。
