duo coat BLACK (KOTOWA): Coat
[KOTOWA]
KOTOWA was born as a brand proposing a Japanese style of clothing that blends the timeless aesthetic sense of ancient capitals with modern sensibilities, regardless of whether they are Eastern or Western.
KAPUKI has selected the "duo coat", which incorporates essential elements of a Japanese-style coat and can be enjoyed across the borders of Japanese and Western styles.
~ Product Description ~
The duo coat exudes a classic esprit and incorporates the essential elements of a Japanese-style coat, allowing you to enjoy it at the same time as other Japanese and Western styles.
The most elaborate design is the collar pattern.
The bold cutting of the lapel (collar), which matches the kimono's loose collar, creates an elegant, large form when worn with Western clothing, giving the shoulders a delicate impression.
In the colder seasons, there are hidden buttons so that you can tuck in the collar to keep out the cold. It can be worn on either the right or left side.
The front of the Sleeve has a clean form with no overlapping seams.
The back style features raglan sleeves that allow for a wide range of motion while still fitting the sleeves of a kimono.
There are also straps to prevent the sleeves from slipping off the cuffs.
The material used is carefully selected Slipperknit, made using a special method by Pienne, a company in Tuscany, Italy, which has a track record of over half a century.
With its fluffy brushed texture and surprisingly light feel, it will completely change your preconceived notion of "winter black" as something that tends to look heavy.
