The Mayotae kimono has a beautiful arabesque pattern that catches the eye.
The material is high quality hemp cloth woven from 100% hemp thread.
"Cannabis cloth" is not well known even to Japanese people.
In fact, during the Jomon period, cannabis grew in large numbers on the Japanese archipelago, and was widely used as daily necessities and food.
Cannabis is also considered a ``sacred plant,'' and in Shinto rituals it is called ``Onusa'' and offered to the gods, and is still used today as twine and ropes associated with temples.
After about 3 years of research and trial and error, ``Mase Tae'' was revived as a rich texture reminiscent of hemp cloth hundreds of years ago.
Completely different from the image of a summer linen kimono, it has a moist and soft texture that keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer, so it can be worn all year round.
There are two colors: black on an ecru background and black on a black ink background, which is a custom-made color from KAPUKI.
The white background creates a gorgeous atmosphere, while the black background creates a stylish atmosphere.
Please experience the comfort like no other.
