High-quality hemp cloth woven with 100% hemp thread ``Mase Tae''.
Hemp cloth is not well known even among Japanese people.
In fact, during the Jomon period, hemp grew in large numbers across the Japanese archipelago and was widely used as a household item and food.
Cannabis is also a "sacred plant" and is called "Oonusa" in Shinto rituals and offered to the gods, and is still used today to make hemp string and rope associated with shrines.
After about three years of research and trial and error, it has been revived with a rich texture reminiscent of hemp cloth from hundreds of years ago.
