Handling and Precautions
- After wearing, dry in the shade in a well-ventilated area to remove moisture.
- If you use a washing machine, fold the yukata, place it in a laundry net, and use the "hand wash mode."
- Please use a neutral detergent that does not contain bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
- Due to the nature of the dyeing process, some color may come out at first. Please be careful not to wash it with other laundry.
- We take steps to minimize shrinkage before tailoring, but please be aware that due to the characteristics of the fabric, some shrinkage may still occur.

A yukata with a broken lattice pattern, made by Hondaya Genbei.
The "broken lattice" pattern, which is said to have existed in the Edo period, is a design that draws on the tradition of "kabukimono" (traditional Japanese samurai), and by likening it to the breaking of a lattice, it expresses the power and energy to break through the status quo, as well as a strong mentality.
This is one of Hondaya Genbei's signature original patterns, which is a redesign of traditional Japanese patterns with a modern aesthetic sensibility.
