This is a type of tie-dye called "Arashi Shibori" by Kondaya Genbei, in which the diagonal pattern looks like an animal print, and it is said to have been named after the pattern that appears like rain during a storm. The swaying and depth that are unique to tie-dyeing create a modern yet tasteful pattern.
