Leopard Gold (KAPUKI x Ume) : Pure Silk | Gold Paint | Edo Komon
The leopard pattern selected by KAPUKI from the Ise Katagami archives has been dyed using the gold mud technique.
The dyeing was done by Kumiko Ishizuka, the fifth generation of Ishizuka Dyeing, a designer of the yukata brand "Kataume" and an Edo Komon dyeing artisan.
The leopard pattern is just the right amount of fineness and density, making it easy to coordinate with other items, and the gold dust on this half-width obi is a focal point of the outfit.
