Hand-painted gold lightning belt by artist SATOSHI SUZUKI.
This is a masterpiece finished using gold leaf and gold paint.
In addition to creating paintings related to shrines and temples, Mr. Suzuki also creates hanging scrolls for bonsai. He specializes in the style of drawing gold on a black background, and after meeting KAPUKI, he created this new gold obi.
The golden obi uses two techniques: ``surihaku'' and ``golden painting'' to create a golden lightning bolt. The thick lightning bolts are expressed by pasting trigger foil with glue using the ``suribaku technique'' pattern paper, and the thinly divided lightning bolts are drawn directly with a brush using fine pure gold powder using the ``golden painting technique.''
