8-inch Nagoya Obi Nishimura Textile "Hakata-ori Ippondokuko White/White"
Hakata Hassun Obi "Ippon Tokko" from Nishimura Orimono, a long-established shop in Hakata that has been around for 160 years since the Edo period. It is easy to match with any kimono color pattern, and the obi with a classic pattern is a standard product of KAPUKI. Tokko pattern is a motif of Esoteric Buddhism Buddhist ritual implements that crush worldly desires and express Bodhisattva's mind. By using plenty of thin warp threads and weaving it in with thick weft threads, it becomes a thick weave with horizontal ridges, which prevents slipping and makes the belt easy to tighten and not easy to loosen.
