A new denim kimono called "Homuramon" designed by heraldic artist Shoryu Hatoba.
Using the latest laser processing technology, we created a flickering flame pattern on the denim fabric.
One of the crests on the back is an original family crest based on a flame orb motif, and if you look closely you can see the KAPUKI logo hidden within.
KAPUKI denim kimonos are made in Japan by denim artisans in Okayama.
We commissioned the denim brand FDMTL (Fundamental) to create a look that captures the unique texture of authentic denim, paying particular attention to the fabric and washing process, and tailoring the garment to show off the stitching.
Kimono are easy to care for and can be enjoyed in a similar way to Western clothing.
